Blocking off your whole day for an 8-hour arrival window shouldn't be the price of getting something fixed. When you book with John Of All Trades, you choose a specific date and time for service — and that's when we show up. With all things scheduling, you’re in control - not the other way around.
Transparent rates & upfront pricing.
Our pricing is straightforward: for minor home repairs, we charge by the hour, and we pass material costs on to you at exactly what we paid for them. This means - no markup on supplies. Period. The only exceptions to our hourly rate model are flat-rate services like TV mounting, drywall repair and full renovations, and you’ll know the price in writing before we start!
Honest communication.
With John Of All Trades, you will always receive clear and honest information about your project. We never pressure you into unnecessary repairs or replacements. We’ll always give you advice with your best interests first and foremost! We believe that if something can be repaired and you want it repaired, it can be repaired - without question!

In-Person consultations.
Thinking about getting an estimate for a larger project? Get the actual info you need! Book John for an in-person consultation estimate! All in-person consultations come with a written estimate with prices guaranteed for six months. There is a small fee for estimates, but that fee gets taken off the final bill so long as you move forward with your project. Prices are always guaranteed to be fair market value - if you find a better price, we’ll try and match it!
Written quotes before starting.
For larger projects, everything goes in writing before a single tool comes out. Scope, cost, timeline — documented and agreed upon upfront. We never have hidden fees. The price you see in writing is the price you’ll pay.
